Hey there! Happy (almost) Friday! What are you all up to this weekend?
It’s supposed to be 70 on Saturday, and a ride in the ol’ Wagoneer is definitely in order (if we can get it to start!). That, and the raking that we never finished up last weekend. Here’s what we’re hoping to get to after we power through that yard work…
Maple Glazed Cider Donuts - need we say more? Just when we thought their regular cider donuts couldn’t get better… We took home a half dozen a couple of weeks ago and well, you’ll just need to taste them for yourself. So good. If we can get the Wagoneer started up, we’ll definitely be cruising out that way for more. And bonus: Slyboro is open for hard cider, too! Details here.
The Rotary 5K is this weekend and while we’re totally not in shape for it (okay fine, Tom is, but I’m definitely not), maybe you are! The race starts at 10am on Saturday morning at SUNY ADK and you can still register online here. I’ll be easing into the spring running season right after I finish the aforementioned maple glazed donuts ;)
What’s your favorite weekend brunch spot? We haven’t been over to Kelly’s Roots in a bit, and we always love their breakfast sammies, and of course, pancakes (the biggest decision - chocolate chips or blueberries?). Hoping their patio will be open soon if not already! Also, maybe we need to reconsider running in the 5K after the eating we have planned this weekend ;)
Have a great weekend!
Bri and Tom
P.S. In case you missed it, a new date night spot downtown.
