The Weekender: December 1 - 3

Happy weekend and Happy December! Holiday spirit is in the air, with lots of festive events around town this weekend (and beyond!) — here’s what caught our eye:

Adirondack Holiday Festival: Kick off the holidays downtown with the Adirondack Holiday Festival! Head to City Park on Friday night for the Santa Parade, Tree Lighting, and over 30 vendors set up for holiday shopping in the park. The Festival continues through the weekend - get the full schedule and all the details here!

LARAC Winter Arts Festival: The always popular LARAC Winter Arts Festival is back at The Queensbury Hotel on Sunday from 10am-5pm! Peruse the booths of over 50 artisans and shop their handcrafted goods, from jewelry to furniture, and everything in between - find the details here!

Thunder Hockey: Cheer on the home team this Friday and Saturday - the puck drops at 7pm both nights. Let’s go Thunder! Tickets here.

Rewind at The Park: Get to The Park Theater on Friday night for ‘Rewind At The Park’ featuring Saints in the City - a Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band! Doors open at 7:30 - grab your tickets here!

Ugly Sweater Brunch: If you love beer, delicious food, and ugly sweaters, get to Craft on 9 this Sunday for the Ugly Sweater Brunch. Start time is 11am and they’ll be serving four courses with recommended beer pairings from Whitman Brewing. Get the scoop here!

— Coming up next week…

Santa Brunch: Head to Morgan and Company on Sunday, December 10 from 10am-2pm for their always popular Santa Brunch! Gingerbread martinis and mimosas (and a delicious Prix Fixe menu!) for mom and dad, crafts for the kids, and of course, Santa Claus himself! Reserve on OpenTable now by clicking here!

Holiday Lighted Nights: Road trip! Head to the Washington County Fairgrounds this December for a holiday drive thru — over a mile and a half of holiday-lighted displays complete with a curated list of holiday music favorites. You’ll also find hot drinks, warm cider donuts, a Holiday Market with local artisans, and Santa himself! Find the info here.

Cambridge Valley Fine Art Show: We’re big fans of so many Washington County artists, and this weekend is a great opportunity to visit a few in their Cambridge studios - and enjoy a stroll around Cambridge while you’re at it (here are a few of our recommendations while you’re there). Get the details on the art tour here!

Have a great weekend,
