The Weekender: December 6 - 8

Happy weekend! We’ve been watching the lights being strung and the wreaths and bows being hung downtown over the past week, and with a little snow on top of it all, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! We’re psyched for a weekend of holiday events, and even more excited to deck our halls and trim our tree this weekend. What are you up to? Here are a few ideas:

If you love charming small towns and historic homes as much as we do, you’ll want to check out the Greenwich Tour of Homes this Sunday! Owners of seven historic houses in the village open their doors to the community for holiday tours and refreshments, and bonus - the proceeds benefit Comfort Food Community. We missed this last year but heard it was a huge success, so we’re looking forward to checking it out this weekend. Just like the holiday markets in Europe (Christkindlmarkt is German for Christmas market!), they’ll have local artisans, food vendors, live music, and lots for the kiddos. Grab all the info here!
