Hope you had a great week! It feels like we’re in that winter sweet spot - the post-holiday lull has passed and all of the fun wintry activities (and ice bars!) are in full swing. Excited to take full advantage this weekend (and then crash on the couch for the Super Bowl). Here’s what’s on our radar:

Fire & Ice

We can’t wait to check out the First Annual Fire & Ice on Friday night to celebrate the first night of skating on Crandall Pond. Skating on the pond + hot chocolate by the fire (bring your own mug!) - it doesn’t get more Hometown USA than that! Here are the details.

Winter Carnival

It’s the kick off weekend for the Lake George Winter Carnival, and we can’t think of anything we’d rather do than watch all of the crazy antics unfold at the Outhouse Races on Saturday ;) There’s also a chili cook-off, parade, and lots more. Grab the scoop here.

Ice Bars + Winterfest

Did you head up to any of the Ice Bars last weekend? If not, you’re in luck, because the party continues this weekend with bars at The Sagamore, Holiday Inn, Gaslight, Lake George Beach Club, and more (grab the full list here), and this weekend, add Winterfest at Erlowest to the mix (here are the details on that). Super Bowl Sunday

What are your plans for the game? We’re excited to whip up some of our favorite comfort foods and relax by the fire to watch at home. However, we may need a big brunch to carry us until then… What’s your weekend go-to? Farmacy? Farmstead Flatbread? The Silo? Would love to hear your favorites.
