Happy Mother’s Day weekend! It always feels like the official start to spring since it usually coincides with everything coming into bloom, and we couldn’t be happier to finally spot some color around here. The allergies, though, we could do without those.
In addition to stocking up on more allergy meds, here’s what we’re hoping to fit in:
Did you catch our Mother’s Day Gift Guide? While it’s tempting to get your last minute shopping done via Amazon Prime, there are so many great gift options that you can pick up locally. Check out our little guide here, and we’ll probably run into you downtown doing our own last minute shopping.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, brunch is a thing in our family. The jury is still out on whether we’re going out or staying in, but we’re kind of leaning toward someone else doing the cooking this time. The Queensbury Hotel, Morgan and Company, and Davidson Brothers are doing brunch - where else? Any other favorites?
If you’re looking for something to do after breakfast, we’re thinking of strolling through the new exhibit at The Chapman this weekend, which features the stories of downtown buildings. After starting to dig into the history of our own home, we’re super interested in hearing the stories of other houses and buildings in the city. And good news, if we don’t make it this weekend, the exhibit runs through October! Find out more here.
Have a great weekend!
