The Weekender: May 17 - 19 — Glens Falls Living

The weekend is in sight - we made it! And was that the sun we saw today?! Unheard of.

We’re looking forward to a weekend at home after some travel this week. The Farmers’ Market is calling our name on Saturday morning, and Tom doesn’t know it yet, but building a window box just might be in our future :) Here’s what else we’re hoping to fit in:

Pet Fest

Downtown events continue this weekend with Pet Fest! Seeing City Park filled to the brim with animals is pretty much Bri’s idea of heaven, and sounds like they’ll have demos from the Glens Falls Police Dept K-9 Unit, agility dogs, and adoptable pets, too. We’ll likely swing by after the Farmers’ Market! Details here.

Date Night

It’s supposed to be in the 70s this weekend (80 degrees this Sunday?!), and the porch at Morgan and Co. seems like the perfect place to enjoy the warm weather - with a couple of drinks, of course. Well, and some of their famous Buffalo Cauliflower. Cheers!

Gardenworks

Speaking of Salem, we just saw on Facebook that Gardenworks is hosting a free garden tour on Saturday. Looks like they’ll be chatting about garden planning - from planting perennials to what plants work best in sun and shade. Sounds great to us since we need all the help we can get ;) Details here.
